PRISM has Asbestos Inspectors certified through U.S. EPA Clean Air Act, Air Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) and National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) serving Northern Idaho, Eastern Washington, and Montana Areas ready to inspect and analyze suspect asbestos-containing building materials.
ASBESTOS-FREE DISPOSAL VERIFICATION & ASBESTOS-FREE FLOORING VERIFICATION
PRISM can provide Asbestos-Free Verification Forms for:
Existing flooring materials for new sheet vinyl installations.
Demolition and disposal of building waste materials.
Renovation and repair of building constructed prior to 1978.
Local Solid Waste Departments must be assured that any demolition and renovation material is asbestos-free, as required by the EPA, before it can be handled & disposed. If asbestos is detected, rules and regulations of U.S. EPA and solid waste departments must be followed prior to disposal.
Current EPA Action Level for asbestos containing material is greater than 1 % by weight.
